Zona Blu takes shape from the need to transform places and attitudes through the experience of making art, in line with the philosophy of thought of the Theory and Practice of Artistic Therapeutics course, a discipline born in the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and with the support by a team specialized in the humanities and psychology.
Syncretic laboratory, cultural incubator, free space, multiform container, open atelier, place of birth and rebirth of creative ideas and identities. The so-called 'blue zones' are places where the expectation and quality of life are the highest compared to the rest of the world. Our group moves its activities on this assumption, through events, laboratory projects, exhibitions and artistic residencies.
Zona Blu is a space for sharing, comparison and dialogue which, through artistic expression, promotes the cathartic role inherent in art: generating beauty by conveying its social relationships, creating new connections. In fact, it not only transforms the physical places, but also the internal relationships of the structure.
Here art becomes a fundamental means of communication where words limit thought.
